Create Your BadgeWelcome to 'Hey, Whatever Happened To...?'. the name was originally chosen for purely mercenary reasons, not so much for the blog, but for an associated (and yet un-launched) website. Without any brilliant inspiration or any other worthy motive, I simply imagined a website that would have a nostalgic theme, offering entries on the stars of yesteryear, and posting updates as to where they are now. 'Pretty pedestrian idea, yes, but conceivably one that had revenue potential. Well, gathering content for such a site is a gargantuan task that I'm taking my time on. Meanwhile, with rights to the domain name, I took some advice from various quarters - people in my life who said 'Hey, you're a writer. You have to start a blog!' So here I am, trying to figure out how the name of this blog can be justified by the content within it. On the face of it, 'Hey, Whatever Happened To...?' sounds like a lament. 'Not my intention. At it's best, I hope for it to serve as a jumping off point for some things that no longer seem in evidence in modern life and and yet are worth recalling. Beyond that, I'm sure to post random thoughts, ideas in the making, samples of my writing (both the polished pieces and the rough works in progress),along with reader's posts. I'd also like to post an occaisional video of some of my stage work, such as the solo piece I performed this past spring. Unfortuatally, that video wasn't of the quality I'd wished. I'll keep working on getting something posted.
